Enabling or Disabling Program Options

Once you have entered your TimeForce serial number you are allowed to enable or disable the program options and modules that can be accessed when logged into this company profile.

From the row of navigation tabs that runs across the top of the screen, click on the main “Admin” tab.

From the Company section of the screen, click on the “Company Administration” link.

This screen is separated into two sections, “Licensing,” and “Company Settings.”

  •  The Licensing section of the screen displays the program options that are available to you based on the serial number that you entered.

  • The Company Settings section of the screen allows you to enable or disable options for each of your company profiles. Use this section to define how many of your total number of available employees, web users, and network time clocks are to be used in each company profile.

Licensing

The information in the Licensing section of the screen is not editable. This screen displays the number of different users that you are allowed to divide between your companies, as well as the modules that your companies are allowed to access.

This information is based on the serial number that you used to enable your program modules and options.

Serial #

The Serial Number is the number that you entered to enable your program modules and options.

License #

The License Number is a unique number that is used to identify your serial number.

Companies

The Companies field displays the number of company profiles that you are allowed to create within the TimeForce database. The first number displayed is the number of company profiles that currently exist within the database. The second number is the total number of companies allowed.

Employees

The Employees field displays the number of employees that you are able to insert into the system between all companies. The first number displayed is the number of employee profiles that currently exist within the TimeForce database. The second is the total number of employees allowed.
Example:
You track time and attendance information for two different companies within the TimeForce system, and have a total number of 30 available employees. 15 of those employees are used in the first “primary" company, 10 are used in the “secondary” company. The number in the Employees field reads, “25 / 30.”

Web Users

The Web Users field displays the user accounts that can be created between all companies. These users can be set up with varying levels of access to the TimeForce system and its functions. The first number displayed is the number of users that currently exist within the TimeForce database. The second is the total number of users allowed between all companies.

Netclocks

The Netclocks field displays the Network Time Clock Instances that you are allowed to create between all companies. A netclock is a virtual time clock that runs on a computer workstation, as opposed to a physical clock. The first number displayed is the number of Netclock Instances that currently exist within the TimeForce database. The second is the total number of allowed instances between all companies.

Exports

The Exports field displays the companies that are allowed to have access to TimeForce’s “Exporting” feature. The first number displayed is the number of companies for which Exporting is currently enabled.  The second is the total number of companies for which you are allowed to enable this feature.

HR

The HR field displays the companies that are allowed to have access to TimeForce’s “HR” module. The first number displayed is the number of companies for which HR is currently enabled. The second is the total number of companies for which you are allowed to enable this module.

Imports

The Imports field displays the companies that are allowed to have access to the programs “Imports” feature. The first number displayed is the number of companies for which Imports is currently enabled. The second is the total number of companies for which you are allowed to enable this feature.

Job Tracking

The Job Tracking field displays the companies that are allowed to have access to the programs “Job Tracking” module. The first number displayed is the number of companies for which Job Tracking is currently enabled. The second is the total number of companies for which you are allowed to enable this module.

Scheduling

The Scheduling field displays the companies that are allowed to have access to the programs “Scheduling” feature. The first number displayed is the number of companies for which Scheduling is currently enabled. The second is the total number of companies for which you are allowed to enable this feature.

Company Settings

Company Settings is where you to divide your allowed options and modules between multiple companies.

This section of the screen displayed as a table with columns listing various licensing options. Your company profiles are displayed as rows in the table.

Company

The Company column displays the name of the company profile to which these settings apply.

Employees

The Employees column allows you to define how many of your total number of allowed employee profiles are to be used with each company.  Enter the number of allowed employees for this company into the available field. Put a check mark in the box to the right of the field to pool your employees. With this setting enabled, there is no set number of employees allowed for this company. Employee profiles will be deducted from the total number of available employees as they are created.

Web Users

The Web Users column allows you to define how many of your total number of allowed users are to be used with each company. Enter the number of allowed users into the available field. Put a check mark in the box to the right of the field to pool your users. With this setting enabled, there is no set number of users allowed for this company. Users will be deducted from the total number of available users as they are created.

Netclocks

The Netclocks column allows you to define how many of your total number of allowed Network Time Clock Instances are to be used with each company. Enter the number of allowed instances into the available field. Put a check mark in the box to the right of the field to pool your Netclock Instances. With this setting enabled, there is no set number of allowed instances for this company. Network Time Clock Instances will be deducted from the total number of available instances as they are created.

Exports

The Exports field allows you to enable the “Exporting” feature for the specified company. Put a check mark in the box to enable this feature.  Refer to the Licensing section of the screen to determine how many of your company profiles are licensed to use the Exporting feature.

HR

The HR field allows you to enable TimeForce’s “HR” module for the specified company. Put a check mark in the box to enable this module.  Refer to the Licensing section of the screen to determine how many of your company profiles are licensed to use the HR module.

Imports

The Imports field allows you to enable the “Importing” feature for the specified company. Put a check mark in the box to enable this feature.  Refer to the Licensing section of the screen to determine how many of your company profiles are licensed to use the Importing feature.

Job Tracking

The Job Tracking field allows you to enable TimeForce’s “Job Tracking” module for the specified company. Put a check mark in the box to enable this module. Refer to the Licensing section of the screen to determine how many of your company profiles are licensed to use the Job Tracking module.

Scheduling

The Scheduling field allows you to enable the program’s “Scheduling” feature for the specified company. Put a check mark in the box to enable this feature. Refer to the Licensing section of the screen to determine how many of your company profiles are licensed to use the Scheduling feature.

Click on the [X] icon to remove a company profile from the  database.
Warning:
This process cannot be undone. Once a company profile has been deleted from the system, all data stored within that company is permanently lost. It is strongly suggested that you make a backup of your database before deleting a company.
