Automatically Generating Hours for Selected Employees
With this option enabled,
when the system generates the final hours for a pay period (from the "Pay
Processing" section of the program), hours for the next
period will be automatically generated for the selected employees, based
on the Schedule Rule that they are assigned to.

Selecting Employees
When processing a pay period, the system will only automatically generate
hours for the employees selected in the "Pay Policies" section
of the program. The following instructions walk you through selecting
employees for automatic hours generation.
Click
on the main "Employee" navigation tab at the top of the screen.
From
the row of links at the top of the main "Employee" screen, click
on Pay Policies. The main "Pay
Polices" screen opens.
Use
the field labeled Employee at
the top of the screen to select the desired employee.
From
the Pay Policies section located
on the right-hand side of the screen, put a check mark in the Auto
Gen Hours option.
Click on the [SAVE] icon in the lower right-hand
corner of the screen to save the changes that you have made.
IMPORTANT:
Hours are automatically generated based on the "Absence Hours"
setting located in the Schedule Rule that the employee is assigned to.
In order for the feature to work, the employee must
be assigned to a schedule in the TimeForce system, and that schedule must be assigned to a Schedule Rule
with an "Absence Hours" setting greater than "0."
