How Do I Find The Activity ID And Ticket Number?

Activity ID

Peachtree uses the Activity ID to track different functions. An Activity ID for importing data from TimeForce must be set up.

  1. From the Peachtree main menu, select the Maintain menu option, then choose Inventory Items.
  2. Click on the [NEW] icon to enter a new ID.
  3. Choose an appropriate Item ID and Description, such as PAYROLL. In the Item Class field, select "Activity Item."
  4. Choose a General Ledger account and enter a description. Leave all other fields blank or with their default values.
  5. Click on the [SAVE] icon to save the ID.
 
Insert the Activity ID into the TimeForce export setup window. The example shows the ID as being named Payroll. Insert "Payroll" into the Activity ID field of the export setup window.

Ticket Number

The Ticket Number determines the Time Ticket Number in Peachtree. This number must be chosen so that it will not conflict with other Time Ticket entries that may already exist.

  1. In the row of icons at the bottom of the screen, click on [TIME & BILLING].
  2. In the Tasks section, click on "Expense Tickets."
  3. The next available ticket number is displayed at the top of the screen, directly under the Employee/Vendor drop-down menu.
