How Do I Find My Company Number?

1. Open Quickbooks Pro. From the main menu, go to the following location: File | Timer | Export Lists for Timer.
2. An Export Lists for Timer screen opens. Click on [OK].
3. A Save in: box opens. Select an easily-accessible location in which to save the file (such as your desktop), and click on the [SAVE] icon. This saves a file called Test.iif to the specified location.
4. Browse to the location that you saved Test.iif to, and double-click on it. A screen comes up asking you what program you want to open this file with. Select Notepad. If you do not have Notepad, open the file with a similar word-processing program.
5. Once the file opens, maximize the window by clicking on the square icon in the top right-hand corner of the window.
6. The Company Number is located on the second line down from the top in the seventh column to the right. It is a nine-digit number.
