How Do I Insert A Training Record?

Select the desired employee from the drop-down menus at the top of the screen.

Insert a Skill Record

Skills are inserted from the Add Skill section of the screen.
  1. Select a Skill Type from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter a Description if desired.
  3. Enter a Skill Level if desired.
  4. Click on the [SAVE] icon to add the skill.
All existing skills are listed under the Skills header.

Note:
The contents of the Skill Type drop-down menu can be customized from the Edit Lookup Tables section of the main Admin tab.

Insert an Education Record

Education records are inserted from the Add Education section of the screen.
  1. Select a Degree from the drop-down menu.
  2. Enter the employee's Graduation Year if desired.
  3. Enter the School at which the employee earned this degree.
  4. Select the employee's Major.
  5. Click on the [SAVE] icon to add the education record.
Note: The contents of the Degree drop-down menu can be customized from the Edit Lookup Tables section of the main Admin tab.

Insert a Certificate Record

Certificate records are inserted from the Add Certificate section of the screen.
  1. Enter the Certificate Type.
  2. Enter the Certification Date. Click on the icon to select the date from a calendar.
  3. Enter the Expiration Date. Click on the icon to select the date from a calendar.  
  4. Enter any additional Comments that you would like to add to this training record.
  5. Click on the [SAVE] icon to add the record.
Note: The contents of the Certificate Type drop-down menu can be customized from the Edit Lookup Tables section of the main Admin tab.

Insert a Course Record

Course records are inserted from the Add Course section of the screen.

  1. Select the desired Course from the drop-down menu.

  2. Select the desired Course Status from the drop-down menu.

  3. If the course has already been completed, enter the appropriate Completed Date. Click on the icon to select the date from a calendar. Leave this field blank if the course has not yet been completed.

  4. If "Repeating" is selected from the Course Status field, the Due Date field appears at the bottom of the screen. This field allows you to select the next date on which the course is due. Enter the appropriate date into the provided field. Click on the icon to select the date from a calendar.

  5. Click on the [SAVE] icon to add the record.

Note: The contents of the Course and Course Status drop-down menus can be customized from the Edit Lookup Tables section of the main Admin tab.
