Settings
Put a check mark in the box next to each setting to enable it. The
available settings are as follows:
Job
Transfer Punching: With this option selected employees do
not have to clock out from their jobs at the time clock. When
the employee clocks into a new job, the software creates two punches,
an "out" punch for the previous job worked, and an "in"
punch for the new job.
Note: In order to use Job Transfer Punching employees
must use the [IN] key on the clock keypad when punching into a job or
task.
Create
Jobs Automatically at the Clock: With this option selected, when
an employee punches into a job with a number that is not tied to a job
profile within the software, a blank profile is automatically created
for that job. This
makes it so that you do not have to set up job profiles before your employees
can begin punching in to and out from jobs.
Allow
Tracking of Quantities: With this option selected, the software
will calculate any quantity entries that have been inserted into the system.
This information
is used for piece rate tracking. If
this option is not selected, employees will still be able to enter quantities
at the time clock, but the information will be ignored when downloaded
into the software.
Remember
the Last IN Punch's Job: This option tells the system to
remember the last job that each employee clocked into. With this option
selected, an employee can clock into a job and not have to worry about
entering further job tracking information until they need to clock into
a new or different job.
Note: The <IN> key on the clock keypad must be used when clocking into
a job. If this option is not selected, employees must specify a job number
with every job.
Use
Job Rate as Premium Base Rate: With this option enabled,
any premium hours that have an hours type of "Worked" will calculate
off of the rates specified on the job profile instead of using the employee
base rate.
Once you have selected the desired options,
click on the [SAVE] icon located at the bottom of the left-hand side of
the screen.
