If an employee's punches
contain errors, the Punch Errors row of the Time Cards screen displays
an error code directly under the In and Out punches for the day. Click
on the error code to view details on the assigned punch error.
Screen Layout
This screen is divided into two columns. The
column on the left-hand side of the screen shows the selected date and
displays each punch on the employee's time card for the day. Punches
that are assigned to an error code are displayed in blue to denote that
they are links. When
you click on any link in the left-hand side of the screen, the details
of the error assigned to that punch are displayed under the Error
header, located in the right-hand section of the screen.
Note: The Non Punch Errors
link displays error information that is not specific to a punch on the
employee's time card. Errors
like "Over Hours" or "Not Scheduled" will be displayed
under this link.
The Errors column on the right-hand
side of the screen lists each error assigned to the selected punch.
The
Number column displays the numerical
error code.
The
Name column displays the name
of the error that the selected punch is assigned to.
The
Reviewed column allows
you to specify that the displayed error has been reviewed.
Reviewing Errors
Click
on the error code on the Time Card screen.
From
the left-hand section of the "Error Display" screen, click on
the link for the desired punch (or the Non
Punch Errors link, if applicable).
From the Errors
section of the screen, review each time card error. To
denote that an error has been reviewed, put a check mark in the check
box under the Reviewed column,
and click on the [VIEW CHANGES] icon located in the upper right-hand corner
of the screen.
Reviewed
errors will remain on the Time Card screen. However,
the error code for reviewed errors is displayed in green.
