"Cannot Find Server" or "DNS Error" When Logging
Into TimeForce
Problem:
When logging into TimeForce you receive one of the following errors:
"Cannot Find Server" or, "DNS
Error Internet Explorer"
Solution
1:
Ensure that the Internet address that you are accessing the program
from is accurate.
You should be using
http://(computername)/qqest/login/login.asp,
"(computername)" being the network name of the computer that
TimeForce is installed on.
Example: If TimeForce is installed on a computer named "SERVER1,"
the correct login address would be "http://SERVER1/qqest/login/login.asp.
If the computer name
does not work, try the IP address of the machine that TimeForce is installed
on.
Example: http://129.186.2.1/qqest/login/login.asp.
If you are using a
firewall, you may also have to use a port number as well (port 80 is the
default port for IIS).
Example: http://129.186.2.1:80/qqest/login/login.asp.
