User Defined Fields

User defined fields allow you to enter customizable data-entry fields into the Employee Profiles section of the TimeForce software.

The program allows you to select what format of data is to be inserted into the customized field. The options are as follows:
  • Text Entry-- Use text entry when you wish to insert alpha-numeric data into the user defined field. A text entry field can accept letters (both upper and lower case), numbers, or a combination of both.
  • Numeric Entry-- A numeric field is used when you wish to insert numeric data into an employee's record (such as the employee's age).
  • Lookup Table-- A lookup table allows you to select an option from a drop-down menu.
