Disciplinary Action Warnings
As employee punches are
assigned punch errors in the Time Card section of the program, Error Points
are accrued based on the point amount specified in the Error
Point Setup section of the program.
When an employee's Error
Points reach the threshold specified in the Disciplinary Scale that they
are assigned to, a Disciplinary Action Warning is created.
Disciplinary Action Warnings
are viewed from the Supervisor Dashboard section of the program.
Opening Disciplinary Action Warnings
From
the row of navigation tabs at the top of the screen, click on "Time
Card."
Click
on the Supervisor link located directly
below the main program navigation tabs.
The
Supervisor Dashboard allows you to select the types of information to
be displayed. When selected, the Disciplinary
Action Warnings section is displayed. See Supervisor
for instructions on customizing dashboard settings.
Click
on the Options link
located directly to the right of the Disciplinary
Action Warnings header. The following options are available:
Include Absences: With this option selected,
error points generated by absence codes on the employee's time card will
be taken into account when Disciplinary Scales are applied. De-select
this option to make it so that absence codes are not taken into account
when Action Warnings are generated.
Show Reviewed: With this option selected,
Action Warnings will remain in the list after being marked as "Reviewed."
If you would like reviewed warnings to be removed from the list, de-select
this option.
Click
on the [SAVE CHANGES] icon to apply your changes.
Reviewing Disciplinary Action Warnings
The following information is displayed for each Disciplinary Action
Warning:
ID: This is the employee ID that is
assigned to the employee in the TimeForce software.
Name: This column displays the employee's
full name. The name in this column is a link. Click on the link to view
the employee's time card.
Disciplinary Scale: This column displays
the name of the Disciplinary Scale that the employee is assigned to.
Action: This is the suggested course
of disciplinary action, based on the thresholds specified in the Disciplinary
Scale that the employee is assigned to.
Reviewed: This column allows you to
select that a Disciplinary Action Warning has been reviewed. The system
can be set up to remove reviewed options from the list.
User: When a Disciplinary Action Warning
has been reviewed, this column displays the user name of the TimeForce
user who changed the status of the item to "Reviewed."
Date: When a Disciplinary Action Warning
has been reviewed, this column displays the date and time on which the
status of the item was changed to "Reviewed."
Total Points: This column displays
the total number of Error Points that the employee has accrued, based
on the punch errors on their Time Card.
