Supervisor
The Supervisor
section of the Time Cards screen allows the user to view information about
the employees that they are assigned to supervise.
Click on the Supervisor
link at the top of the Time Card screen.
The Department
field at the top of the screen allows you to filter the displayed employees
by the department that they are assigned to work in. Select the desired
department from the drop-down menu, or click on the icon
to select from a department map.
To view a specific date,
enter the desired date into the provided field. To select
the date from a calendar, click on the icon. Click on the [GO] icon to
view the specified date.
The [VIEW OPTIONS] icon
allows you to select the information shown in
this screen. The options on this screen are as follows:
Position
This defines what position
on the screen this information will take. For example, "Pay Period"
is selected in Position 1.
"Who's In" is selected in Position
2. "Schedule" is selected in Position
3. Pay Period totals will be shown at the top
of the
screen, followed by Who’s
In and Schedule, etc.
Type
This allows you to select
what type of information you would like to be viewed
in this position. The available information types are as follows:
Absence Requests: Displays requests
for absences that have been submitted to the supervisor.
Daily: Hours totals for the selected
day.
Disciplinary:
Displays a suggested course of disciplinary action to be taken against
specific employees, based on the number of Error Points generated by the
punches on employee time cards. See Disciplinary
Scales for information on setting up and using this feature.
Errors: Displays the punch errors in
the employee’s time card for the selected day.
None:
Select this option to leave the section blank.
Pay Period: Hours totals for the current
pay period.
Requests: Displays any General Requests
submitted to the supervisor from another employee.
Schedule: Displays the schedules of
the employees assigned to the supervisor.
Verification: Displays which employees
and supervisors have verified the Time Card for this pay period.
Weekly: Hours totals for the current
week.
Who’s In: Displays the employees who
are currently clocked in at the time clock.
Note: You must download the time clock in order to view current
“Who’s In” information. The program cannot read data that is being stored
by the time clock.
Height
This option allows you
to specify how much of the screen is dedicated to
each option. The unit of measure is in pixels. By default, all heights
are set to “100.”
Click on the [SAVE CHANGES]
icon to apply the specified settings.
