Allocate Hours

The Allocate Hours feature allows users to change the way that their daily hours totals are assigned to Department, Jobs and Tasks. However, this feature does not allow users to add more time card hours than have been recorded for the day.

For example, an employee worked for 8 hours on Monday. The employee logs into the TimeForce system and specifies that the first 2 of those 8 hours were spent working in “Department #1.” The next 3 hours were spent working on “Job #2.” The last 3 of the 8 hours for that day were spent working on “Task #5.” The employee is only able to modify the way that the existing 8 hours are allocated. They are not allowed to insert additional hours.
