System Tools
This section contains various tools and utilities that are helpful in setting
up and maintaining your system.
- Clock
Instructions: This section gives you step-by-step instructions
on setting up your time clock. Select the model of clock that you are
using for specific clock setup instructions.
- Edit
Tables: Various sections of the program contain lookup tables
which require you to select an option from a drop-down menu. Use this
section to customize the available selections for information such as
Ethnicity, Marital Status, Benefits, Job Title, etc.
- Exports:
Exports allow you to transfer the hours & earnings information from
TimeForce into a payroll processing package such as QuickBooks or Peachtree.
- Imports: This section
of the software allows you to import employee profiles and time clock
punches from Excel spreadsheet files. This saves you from having to manually
input data into the TimeForce system.
- Settings:
This section allows you to add overtime levels and rates, and specify
the pay period starting times for the pay periods that your company uses.
- Time Clock
Processing: This area of the software allows you to manage the punch
packets that have been downloaded from your time clock(s).
- User
Defined Fields: Use this section to add customized
fields to your employee records. User fields can be created with the following
data types: Text, Numeric and Lookup.
- User
Security: This section allows you to create the uses that will be
allowed to log into the TimeForce system. Modify the Administrator user
and create Supervisor, Employee and Customized Rights users from this
screen. This screen is also used to create Network Time Clock instances.
