Scheduling
This section of the TimeForce
software allows you to create and maintain schedules for your employees.
The scheduling module contains many different options, each designed to
allow maximum flexibility and ease of use.
Click on the main “Schedule”
navigation tab located at the top of the screen. Five links run across
the top of the main Schedule screen. These links are “Schedule,” “Create
Schedule,” “Spreadsheet Schedule,” “Schedule Rules,” and “Rotating Template.”
Schedule
This screen allows you
to view your current schedules in a graph format. Enter the desired starting
date, and select whether you would like to view daily, weekly or monthly
schedules.
Create Schedule
This section of the software
is where your schedules are created and maintained.
Spreadsheet Schedule
This option allows you
to create a spreadsheet containing the date range and employees that you
would like to create a schedule for. The spreadsheet can then be used
to quickly and easily schedule employees and update your existing schedules.
Schedule Rules
This section of the program
allows you to create standard sets of rules which can be applied to your
schedules. Create rules specifying the number of required hours, automatic
meal break deduction, rounding and minimum hours policy assignments, etc.
Shifts
This option allows you to assign your employees to a shift which brings
your assigned departments, scheduled days, shift start and stop times,
and schedule rules together into easily manageable shift profiles.
Rotating Template
This screen allows you
to create templates for rotating schedules. Templates are created with
up to four shifts per day, each using an individual set of “schedule rules,”
if desired. For example, if a template is created for a 7 day period and
applied to a range of 10 days, the system will follow the template for
the first 7 days and start over again at the beginning of day 8.
